Today I will talk about my favourite food which is the Peruvian food. I like peruvian food because I love the ingredients that peruvian use for prepare these fabulous dishes and the way that they condiment it. Peru has a huge range of food like potatos, fruit, Green vegetables, among others, because it tropical weather.   So, is almost imposible that you doesn´t like a peruvian dish if you taste some. Last summer travel to Peru and I can say that is a wonderful country with nice people, incredible landscapes and obviously amazing food. My favourite ingredients of the peruvian food are the shellfish, fish, white corncob, beef, and some fruit. But there are ingredients that I don´t really like too much as yuca and roccoto pepper. Regarding it drinks, I can mention pisco sour and purple maize. The dishes that I really enjoy are “causa” which is a cold dish and basically are made of mashed potatos with fish. I like chiken pepper too, which has shred chicken with a yellow pe...

My favourite subject this term

This year I joined at Universidad de Chile so, I started having new subjects with new topics.   There are some that I don’t really like too much but there are others that I’m surprise of it. One of these subjects and the most that I like is Geometry by Ester Turu. I like geometry because is a subject where I can do things and I can form incredible figures with just some dots. In this course I have learned what the computer exactly does in some programs like “AutoCAD” or “SketchUp” with the difference that my forms are handmade. In classes Ester writes an exercise on the whiteboard and then she resolve it. We can resolve it with her   at the same time (which is a fantastic method to learn geometry). This term I have learn 1 st , 2 nd , and 3 rd category of homology, that means construct plan views,   make curves or conics and reflect   a figure in a plan with one dot in any position. Another fact that makes the subject nice for me is the way that Ester teac...

Today I will talk about Malala Yousafzai who is a incredible and admirable person. Malala was born in Pakistan in 1997. Her parents are Toorpekai and Ziauddin Yousafzai . She has 2 brothers. Actually, she is an activist and student. The Taliban regime banned the assistance to girls at school so that’s why until today, she fights for woman education equality and civil rights too in spite of her age. Her family has a chain of schools in the region. In 2012 she was victim of a terrorist attack. A men get into the bus wich she went and he shoot her in 3 times in her head but she actually is alive and healthy. In 2013, with 15 years old, she won the Nobel Prize being the youngest person who recieve it. I wanted talk about her because I really love her work and what she do for a comunity. Is incredible that a girl of just 15 years old wins a very important prize like the Nobel Prize (including others). I admire her bravery, diplomacy and perseverance for fight for what she and...

Favourite Cartoon From My Childhood. I don´t have an only  favourite cartoon from my childhood, I liked The powerpuff girls, Johnny Bravo, Dexter an any others but, in this post I will talk about SpongeBob Squarepantants. This cartoon narrate the   funniest adventures of a sponge that lives in the Deep of the ocean. This sponge has three Friends: Squiward Q. Tentacles, "Sandy Cheeks" and Patrick Star. He has a pet which is a snail named Gary. Bob works in a restorant named Krusty Krab which  owner is Mr. Krabs.   The villain of the serie is Plankton (who is literally a plankton, so is really ironic but, whatever...) who tries to stole the secret recipe ofthe Krabby Patty. This cartoon make my childhood fantastic. I saw it before going to school or on weekends. I think that is a simple cartoon whithout a complex trama but, that´s why is really funny for children (or for me). The personality of their themes makes that you feel without preocupation ...

The Feminist Movement: Like everybody knows, women along the history has been seen less that the man. She is relegated to the house, to the children and all these “mom´s works”. They receive lower salary than the man, they are harassed in the streets and a lot of others   injustices. This movement is born like an answer to all these injustices. I think that the woman of this society are really brave because they are fighting for rights that woman haven’t had along of the history like the simple fact to walk without fear in the streets. We still live in a patriarchal society so that’s why they are victims of these abuses. Some men still believe that they are superior to the woman so they think that they have rights over her. Is really hard thinking a fast solution to all this problems because they are rooted in us but that is not an excuse for not doing anything. I think that everybody should learn to respect to other people even woman because a lot of times these abuses ...

My favourite piece of technology: I never tought that I could depend of a piece of techonology but since I have memory I use a lot of pieces of technologies all my life. I can say that I am dependent of my cellphone. I use it every single day for everything: from to see the hour to making assignments. My first phone was a gift of my sister. I used it just to play the snake game because it had anything more and I think that these was the exactly moment which my dependency starts. Actually, I use my actual cellphone to comunicate with other people, to have fun, to do assignments and more. Ocasionally, it turn out to be a point of distraction and it takes a lot of my time. Anyways, I like to use it because   it is very useful, you can put your life on them practically:   like your photos, notes, videos. You have   a direct way to comunication, etc. You don’t need big bags or write and send a letter when you have a cellphone. Honestly, I think that my life w...

When I was a child, I always liked many variety activities. If I think it now, I wouldn’t practice any of those.   I wanted to be a nurse for helping people; dancer, singer, actress, astronomer and even more. As I was growing up I recogniced one skill on me, but that skill was not dancing or singing or resolving maths problems. That skill was the construction: in blocks, play dough and paper, mainly. Besides, my preferences became the handmade creations. Choosing a career and decide what to do with my life wasn’t really easy at all. I was 18 years old and nobody knows (or most of people) what to do with their lives at 18. Finally, I decided to choose Architecture because it is a career that covers so much areas that interested me. In spite of having much maths, I dont think that it is an impediment, people can overcome anything if they want. Now I think that it was the best option that I could choose. My dream child job
